Paras Power & Coal Beneficiation Ltd is one of the major concerns of Paras Power Group, engaged in commodity trade. The company was constituted with the sole intention of importing coal and undertaking the trading of wash and reject coal on a large scale. This has added new dimensions to the core activity of trading and transportation of indigenous coal, currently being done by our sister concerns.

In indigenous coal trade, we purchase coal from subsidiaries of Coal India Ltd like WCL, MCL & SECL and deliver it to our customers at the best competitive rates. On the foreign front, we have a strong presence in Indonesia. We have established tie-ups with the coal mine owners in Indonesia to import coal to India. We are in a position to offer varied quality of coal to any port in India. At present, we are dealing in Indonesian origin steam coal and also have plans to import from South Africa, Australia and China.

We have ambitious plans regarding our coal trade. In the current fiscal, we have a target of trading one lac MT of coal per month, which shall be augmented to two lac MT per month in the next financial year. By the third year, the target is to achieve a turnover of three million tonnes.
